The Counseling Center is available to consult with faculty, staff, parents, or students about student mental health concerns, such as issues impacting student wellbeing and safety, student crises, or information about our general services.
If you are concerned about a student, the Counseling Center can help to assess difficult situations, offer suggestions for resources, or provide appropriate referrals.
For guidance about appropriate resources within the Division of Student Affairs, please consult the Student Affairs consultation grid.
To schedule a consultation appointment during the academic year, call (202) 319-5765 or come to the Counseling Center, located at 127 O'Boyle Hall, between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday (Friday summer availability is until noon). If the situation you are concerned about is an emergency, please ask to speak with a counselor for immediate consultation.
