Stress is a natural part of life and is a normal reaction to life's demands.

When stress is moderate, it can help increase our motivation and focus and even help us feel more prepared and invested in activities. However, when stress gets too high and surpasses our threshold, it can start to interfere with our ability to get things done. We might feel as though we are in a constant state of threat and danger, without knowing how to relax and get back to normal.

Finding ways to work with stress and balance our stress levels is vital for healthy functioning. Learning to recognize your warning signs of high stress and practicing consistent stress management can be helpful ways of decreasing unhealthy levels of stress.
