"Let's Talk" is a program that provides easy access to informal, confidential same-day consultations with Counseling Center clinicians.

It is one of two options for same-day services at the Counseling Center.

Note that these meetings are not formal counseling sessions—this is an informal service where students can have a consultation with a counselor from time to time. Students may have no more than 2 Let's Talk appointments per semester.

Students desiring weekly, ongoing therapy should schedule an intake appointment and initiate the process of being assigned an individual therapist, joining a therapy group, and/or being referred to off-campus providers.

Students experiencing an acute mental health emergency (i.e. current thoughts of suicide or harm to others, recent assault, self-harm behaviors) should utilize a same-day Emergency appointment.
